Main Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor press brake machines to bend or form metal sheets according to specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.

• Select and install appropriate dies, punches, and tooling for each job.

• Perform test runs and make necessary machine adjustments to ensure precision and quality.

• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (calipers, gauges, protractors, etc.).

• Record production data and report any defects, malfunctions, or deviations.

• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality control teams to improve efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

• Previous practical experience operating CNC press brake machines

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Experience setting up press brake machines and adjusting bending parameters

• Ability to select and change punches and dies

• Ability to check dimensions and bending angles using measuring instruments

• Understanding of sheet metal bending and material properties

• Accuracy, responsibility and attention to quality

• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
